Saturday, July 27th, we joined Yang United Association's Eggroll Fundraiser event to help register the local community up to vote. It was a success! We are so inspired by everyone who signed up, showed interest, and gave us support. It raises awareness on how needed these voter registration services are. North Carolina Hmong Women Association, Inc., collaborated with the URBAN Institute on a new report on barriers immigrant families face when enrolling in safety net programs in North Carolina.

We partner with the Department of Public Health at UNC Greensboro on the community needs assessment and additional community based research opportunities. We also provide an internship for their public health students and participate in classroom lectures on diversity, community building, and minority relations.
